Estaba terminando el post que supuestamente iba a subir ayer, pero por hueva/falta de total inspiración no lo terminé, cuando empecé a leer los boletines de myspace y me topé con esto:

I didn't know about it till just now, some think its an April Fools joke and then I look at the comments and a girl got a message from Hellhammer saying it's true. They haven't sent me anything but I'm going to assume this is the last for Arcturus. Hails to them, and if this is a joke, then thats just sick.

Ok, I've heard more about this from the source (somebody close to the promoters at Just Say Rock). Apparently Hellhammer will soon be moving to Dimmu Borgir full-time (I know, it's an insane waste) and Vortex will be leaving the band also (not sure if this is also to be in Dimmu Borgir full-time).
This would leave Knut, Sverd and Tore looking for a fifth vocalist and lacking arguably their best member (Hellhammer). Therefore they have decided to split-up for now, and are not ruling out reforming in a few years for another album.
This was explicitly confirmed for the promoters by the band themselves, and comes from one of the most reliable sources in the Australian metal scene.
I'm personally waiting for the next update of this website or the next interview with Arcturus to see what will happen...
I messaged Hellhammer myself just to make sure. So I'll wait and see whats happening.

Sin necesidad de decirlo estoy en shock, creo que me va a dar un colapso nervioso porque en serio esto no puede estar pasando. Sí, sé que no es el fin del mundo y que no es la primera ni la última banda que se desintegra porque los integrantes están en 322521010154.25 bandas más. Sí, yo sé que Dimmu deja más lana, pero chale, Y el amor a la música y la creatividad que puedes desarrollar en tus propios proyectos dónde queda entonces?
Sólo me queda esperar a que esto sea una broma de mal gusto, pero en este mundo del metal pos uno nunca sabe. Dimmu fue la razón por la que Vortex dejó Borknagar, así que pues así como así puede dejar Arcturus. No me viene nadie a la mente quien pudiera reemplazarlo, no me viene nadie a la mente quien pudiera reemplazar a Hellhammer,porque el wey será lo que quieran, pero de que es un excelente baterista, duda no hay.
Seguiré escribiendo mi super post que hablaba de mi músiquita linda y adorada aunque pues chale, creo que ni ganas tengo.

Me dijo el Meco ayer y me quedé de a 4. Obviamente como pedo me metí a la página oficial para ver qué fly y no vi ningún official statement ni nada del estilo. Que digan "me dijo hellhammer" o "me dijo vortex" o "me dijo la prima del hermano del vecino del wey de la disquera", valen fruta la neta y como le dije a Meco, hasta que no vea un official statement en la página no voy a chillar.
Osea que la negación está bien chida, no? :(

MMMMM¡¡no se mucho de metal pero me suena a que eso es muy muy muy grave, no te preocupes quiza solo sea un pancho de artista temperamental como todos los artistas temperamentales.

La neta es que no sé ni que pedo. Chale pinche Dimmu Borgir. Es una pinche injusticia, ya van tres. Windir (pero ahí para que le hago a la mamada si ni lo conocía cuando se congeló, pero de todos modos cuenta) Dissection, y ahí vamos como Arcturus también. In Flames más o menos entra.
